I have been face painting for over twenty years, since my own children were young and willing models.

Since then I have face painted many hundreds of children (and adults) I feel very privileged to be doing a job that I absolutely love, and which gives me the chance to make children’s imaginations run riot & their fantasy’s to come true.

I am a member of FACE(the face painting association). I have, over the years, painted all ages. from a ‘bump’ on an expectant mum’s tummy to a 98 year old lady who had “always wanted to be a fairy princess” proving that you are never too old to have your face painted!

As well as face painting, I also offer temporary tattoos and funky hair. For those horror fans I can provide realistic wounds, burns and bruises (more suitable for adults and the over sevens) and these are especially popular at Halloween.

Why not have a really individual experience of a very special time in your and your baby’s life? I can create a unique painting on your pregnant tummy which will make a very special addition to your baby book or photo albums. Please see the Gestational Painting Gallery for examples. You may well have your own ideas which I would be delighted to work with or I can offer suggestions of designs that would work well.

I feel safety is of paramount importance, and therefore follow a strict code of practice regarding hygiene and only use tested and approved products. I am covered with £5,000,000 public liability insurance, and have been CRB checked. I also run Face painting training courses from my home in Harpenden, Herts, UK or can travel to you if you wish

Face Painting Courses

Every so often I run hands- on face painting courses for those who wish to learn face painting for themselves! This is an opportunity to learn the art of face painting in a friendly small group, in an informative but unhurried and fun half or full day session.

This is ideal if you want to be able to help at your Childs school fete, your child’s birthday party, or even if you wish to progress to a paid face painting career!

These face painting courses are usually held in Harpenden, Hertfordshire UK. The fee per person includes all materials and course notes. I do morning or afternoon sessions- please contact me for current fees.

The groups are kept small, between 6 and 8 people per session I can offer one to one or group courses if you wish to have a private lesson in your own home. For prices of Full days, individual lessons and other venues please contact me to discuss your requirements.
