I’ve always loved baking and have been making cakes for my nephews and nieces for a long time. Then I had my own children and met more mums with other kids so the demand for cakes and cupcakes made me think I should put pleasure and work (should these two words ever be side by side?) together and advertise my skills around. So that’s how Cakes By Dali started.
I try to buy local products when available and I make my own boards with wood provided by St Albans Wood Recycling. They also produced the cake pop stands you can see in some pictures and can be borrowed upon a small refundable deposit when buying Cake Pops.
I am registered as a food business with the local authority and a member of St Albans Sugarcraft Club.
Only good quality ingredients and free-range eggs from the Chicken Run Farm Shop are used in my cakes. All cakes are made to order to come to you fresh and according to your requirements. I also have dairy and gluten free cakes and cupcakes available. Please contact me if you have any other dietary requirements to discuss your needs.
